Become a Guerilla gardener for Earth Day!

April 22, 2008

I have heard about the great guerilla gardening coming from the 70’s in california and in Europe and i strongly believe we should reactivate this great green non violent concept  in every big city such as Montreal and Vancouver not only for Earth Day but every day! Big cities are getting more and more polluted ( i just came back from Shanghai and trust me the smog is so thick than you cant see the buildings , totally insane!you can’t even breathe inside a taxi!)

ModernguerillagardeningCities are the new enemies of this New Millenium and we should reintroduce some green area inside cities and please find some good tips  about this non violent direct action and of course you should start guerilla gardening with your friends only during the night!!!

1. Spot some local orphaned land

2. Plan a mission

3. Find a local supply of plants

4. Choose plants for front line battle

5. Get some Wellington Shoes

6. Bag some bags

7. Regular Watering

8. Seed bombs (just mould soil, clay and seeds together )

10. Garden with a beautiful girl

11. Spread the word

12. Transportation ( bike only )

13. Enjoy the results and don’t forget to put a small signage  "SPRINKLE ME"
